Agia Marina Xyliatou honours the memory of all people sacrificed in the name of ideals. There are two memorials in Agia Marina Xylaitou. The first one is dedicated to war (1974) heroes, Andreas Ioannou Moditi and to Kypros Petsas, whilst the second one to the fighter, Dimitrakis Papamiltiadous (1964).
